02 Days - Bai Tu Long Bay, the bay less traveled in Halong Bay

It showcases some of the most impressive sights in Bai Tu Long Bay, from extraordinary rocks to excellent food, wonderful local families and much much more to offer you. Come with us to enjoy the different way of traveling in this Wonder of Nature like no Other.

Day 01: Hanoi - Cairong port
Bai Tu Long Bay is equally magnificent, yet is less frequently visited. Legend has it that the Child Dragon landed here, creating its spectacular landscape. Departing from Hanoi, we drive to Cam Pha town. Here, we embark on a boat ride which takes us through the most stunning compressed and twisted islets, formed by mountain creation movement that occurred nearly ten million years ago.

This is followed by a kayaking ride among picturesque limestone outcrops. This is one of the best ways to explore the bay.
Finally we arrive on Van Don island, an island which features white sand beaches, tiny villages and verdant hills. we settle in with our lodge.
The lodge is tastefully designed with textile and bamboo accents on the bedding, adorned with traditional furnishing, the room is peaceful and exotic. At our warm and friendly lodge we have the opportunity to learn to make traditional Vietnamese Spring Rolls and succulent fish dipping sauce and Squid dish. Tonight we stay overnight in our comfortable lodge. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).

Day 02: Cairong - Bai Tu Long Bay - Hanoi

Thousands of years in the making, Van Don island, which is located in Bai Tu Long Bay, is a testament to the period when the sea receded leaving the island surrounded by ivory white sand dunes and stunning crescent beaches. The island also boasts important historical significance, having once been a trading post and an ancient battleground during the Mongol invasion of Vietnam in the 13th century.

After having breakfast we take a bicycling ride across the island and explore its northern part, the best way to see all the sights, lush surroundings and breaktaking sea view, stay close to the fertile land and its friendly inhabitants.

After that we board our waiting boat to discover the extent of the bay. 

The return journey follows a different route, allowing us a few hours to appreciate the tranquil beauty only found in Bai Tu Long Bay. We finally arrive in Cai Rong for boarding our waiting vehicle for our return journeyto Hanoi, arriving there at about 6pm. (Breakfast and lunch are included).

Physical activities: 

Easy cycling and kayaking with:
- a 1-2 hour kayak ride on Day 1.

- a 7-9 km bicycle ride on Day 2.
