Itinerary:
Day 01: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)
Pick up at your hotel around 07:00, and then head to Hai Phong City for a hydrofoil boat ride to Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival in Cat Ba, you will take a short drive to Beo Pier where the traditional junk is waiting to take you to unique floating villages on Lan Ha Bay. Afterwards, you will relax on the junk and enjoy the fresh seafood lunch while cruising to the breathtaking Lan Ha Bay.
After a short introduction of kayaking routes and ways of kayaking, you will grab the paddle and go kayaking and pass through floating villages, islets, lagoons, hidden caves and private beaches. You will also get opportunities to observe the local daily life on your cool kayak and paddle slowly as a nature lover has been dreaming about.
Cruise to Viet Hai pier before sunset and enjoy dinner. Enjoy a biking tour to Viet Hai village which is a great traditional house hidden in a tranquil village in Cat Ba National Parl
Day 02: Cat Ba Island – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast at the home-stay, you will then start trekking through to Cat Ba National Park and then spend 2 hours to hike through the Kim Giao Forest to the top of Ngu Lam Peak where you can see the panoramic view of Cat Ba island. Back to the town for lunch and then you will be transferred to the pier for hydrofoil back to Hai Phong city where our driver will take you back to Hanoi to end this trip at around 18:00.
+ Cat Ba Island
Stretching the area of more than 200 square kilometers, Cat Ba Island is the largest one in the Complex of Halong Bay. Officially recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, Cat Ba is famous for its rugged limestone mountains, hot and cold springs, moist tropical forests and coral reefs, as well as its deserted beaches and casual island lifestyle.
+ Lan Ha Bay
Being part of the complex of Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay comprises around 400 islets along with 139 beautiful, small and pristine sandy beaches. The bay is also endowed with unspoiled and magnificent nature beauty. It becomes an indispensable destination where tourist can swim, go kayaking or staying overnight in a bungalow.
+ Cat Ba National Park
Cat Ba National Park is the first national park in Vietnam which includes both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. Covering the area of 26,300 hectares, the landscape of Cat Ba National Park is dominated by karts limestone areas on the main island where there are numerous waterfalls, caves and grottoes.
+ Ngu Lam Peak
Being the roof of Cat Ba Island, Ngu Lam Peak offers visitors a gorgeous view of the island. Experiencing a trekking to the peak will give you a rate chance to have a deep insight into the natural beauty as well as unique culture of the locals.
