At the border gate of China, in Ha Giang province, the trip will help you to discover the unusual landscape of Vietnam: mountains and circuses limestone, roads perched on terraced fields, rivers and waterfalls combined in a wild nature.
You will also discover the great ethnic diversity in the North of Vietnam when joining in local markets of the villages in the region: every week Hmong, Dao, Nung, Tay, Pu Peo (also called Lo Lo) people always come to trade or exchange goods in a colorful rainbow.
You will visit typical villages, the Hmong King Palace, the Dong Van Old Quarter from the French colonial epoch.
You will make stops at home stays, our guides have forged relationships over time with its hosts. And if you have more free time, you can continue the trip to Cao Bang or Ba Be Lake for a nature stop before returning to Hanoi.
We have organized the tour appropriately to have many stops during the trip, even on the short treks of 1 or 2 hours each day.

You can enjoy the travel at any time you want; but we advise that the best time for the tour is around September and October, just before the harvest. Different maturity of paddy field offers you a varied color panel from soft green to yellow.
Harvest: from May to Mid-September.
In the winter (from the middle of December to February), the temperature of the highlands can reduce to 60 degrees and fields are not cultivated.
